Who are the parents of Elizabeth Ann Danials
« on: Thursday 21 October 04 22:05 BST (UK) »
Hi, I am looking for the parents of Elizabeth Ann Danials (1864) who married Charles Ridley Liddle (1859).  They married about 1881.  Elizabeth was born in Newcastle and this is where they married.  I cant find a record of her birth or who her parents were.  These were my GGrandparents, I have information on the Liddle line but none on Danials.  Can anyone help.
Cheers
Kathy

It is, of course, Daniels and not Danials. Charles Ridley Liddle is easy to find on the 1881 census in Newcastle, a single man lodger. Elizabeth was also in Newcastle at the time and, if she told the truth, we know her birthplace and year of birth:
~~~~~~~~
  Elizth.A. DANIELS Household
    Female
~~~~~~~~

  Other Information:
    Birth Year <1859>
    Birthplace Warminster, Wiltshire, England
    Age 22
    Occupation Cook
    Marital Status U <Unmarried>
    Head of Household James NELSON
    Relation Serv
    Disability

~~~~~~~~
  Source Information:
    Dwelling 20 Wentworth Pl
    Census Place Elswick, Northumberland, England
    Family History Library Film 1342218
    Public Records Office Reference RG11
    Piece / Folio 5051 / 92
    Page Number 7
So - not too hard to find on 1837online I guess.
Good hunting...
