William Cocks
« on: Thursday 21 October 04 22:34 BST (UK) »
Has anyone come across william COCKS? He was married in dawlish in 1827 to amey martin. I have found amey and two children on the 1851 census living in Dawlish (transcribed as corks on the LDS census cd). Children are Samuel (b. c1835) and Henry (b. 1839). Amey does not say she is widowed, but perhaps she is. Samuel and Henry were born in exeter, and henry's birth certificate gives williams occupation as plasterer. Has anyone else seen william? I have no clue as to his date of birth, place of birth, or parents.
