LINKS: London Pubs, Taverns, Inns
« on: Thursday 22 December 05 01:22 GMT (UK) »
All,
I hope this is of use to somebody. Over the last few months, and for the forseeable future - I am bulding a new site which relates the the London Public House.
I already run the Essex Pub site at http://essexpub.net http://essexpub.net- this is a relatively new site at http://londonpublichouse.com

The site is genealogy based, and in the first instance just includes the 1881 census, then the corresponding Trade Directory info to give a Public House  a name, then lots more too.

Anyway, enjoy, and please post any useful offerings of help.

Thanks
Kevan

Kerry,
Thanks, there are about 5000 Pubs on the site so far - and more added every day. Any useful additions to the site are always welcome.
Best

Hi Kevan.great site, and good luck with it.
I am trying to trace Faircloths who were liscenced victuallers, pub landlords in Bromley Kent and sidcup kent between the 1800's and upto the 1960's I believe.Information is scant as unfortunately not many people left to cross examine for clues!! i know the pubs were the alma in sidcup and the crown Bromley. The crown Bromley was run by my Husbands father...who died in the 1980's before I could document anything!
Cheers Dawn...now in aussie
If I find more info I will pass it on.
