Hi again Bambi, ;D

in 1881 Samuel gives his birth place as Co Down c1846. The Ulster Historical Foundation has a birth for a Samuel Dowds 1846, Co Down. If you haven't seen this you can search the database here -

hi Darcy - where on earth did you get all that info from - "thanking you ever so much" - for your time and for your help - I do not know how to repay you for your kindness - so a big XXX - thankyou.   Gosh thats just great - not only getting the rest of his children but also one of the daughters married as well - how wonderful - its like he wanted found.  cannot wait to put it all into my gemco (or whatever its called) a free one I downloaded from the mormon site.
Been trying to trace my gt gt grandfather - know he came from Newry in County Down Ireland (through some member a cousin on genes whose father told him where his grandfather originally came from) - but honest Darcy I have spent so much money (with the help of my 2 brothers) doing our family tree that I cannot afford any more as I am a pensioner and with the price of fuel and paying of this computer well - we are all in the same boat I guess.
So thankyou once again - for making my day - love bambie

gosh Darcy - do the other people not thank you - I find that dreadful after all its your time and caring that helps them - Me I am on top of the world with the info you sent me - I do know Samuels parents names and their children from a fife site - so maybe when I manage to put a few cents aside I may go into the Ulster Site that you recommended - I only have the computer to help me - as I live out in the bush here in west australia - and very seldom get into the city - where I can go to view some of the things from the Family site - so once again "thankyou" - and if there is anything I can ever help you with - please give me a shout - your friend for life - bambie

 ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Most people do thank us Bambi and are very grateful - just a few forget.. ;D ;D

Your "Thank You" was especially nice and worth commenting on. ;D

When you get around to checking that Co Down birth let us know if you get a match. ;D

Good Luck

Darcy ;)
