I think I said in a few postings above  that it doesn't have to be figurative - have a look at some recent art - or look at Francis Bacon's portraiture if you must have a face of sorts.

I was thinking about it last night, and because I can't draw for toffee and because I don't know what he looked like I was going right away from drawing faces.  I am thinking more shapes, colours and maybe even textures. 

I'll have a go and you can tell me what you think!
