Hi Hinton

There is a Joseph WHEALE living with the CATTELL family, 57 Foley Street, Wednesbury, Warwickshire in 1891.  His age is 21, birthplace given is Ason Warwickshire and his occupation is Edge Tool Maker's Striker.  The head of the house, Frederick COTTELL is an Edge Tool Maker.  The details for this entry are RG12/2277  Folio 87  Pages 21 and 22

Gertrude WHEALE is living at the following :-

1891 Census Warwickshire Aston Aston Manor
RG12/2432  Folio 18  Page 29

38 Upper Webster Street

H/KEATLEY
John Head Marr 24 Retail Metal Warehouseman Warwick Birmingham
Mary A Wife Marr 22                                             Hertford Ledbury
Florence E Sister Unmarr 17 Tailoress                  Stafford Wolverhampton
WHEALE Gertrude Sis in Law Unmarr 7                Warwick Birmingham

Unsure if in this case Sis in Law means just that or step sister.

Cheers
Karenlee

Hello Karenlee,
Thanks for a very detailed reply.
Have only recently learned abt Gertrude & have been trying to fit the pieces together as she has not been listed with the
rest of the family. Gertrude would be sister in law to John.
Joseph is another recent find & reported to be the older
brother Mary. He was bn Ledbury, but thats not to say he
didnt decide to give WAR as his b/place. Having said that Joseph is a fairly common name in the family & there are other families in WAR related to us.

Plenty to work on.
Thanks again for your help.

Hinton
