Hi andrea

Thomas freeman is william freeman father who was transported to australia for committing a felony so there is also his goal register on the net at the bedfordshire and luton archives serivce which give details of his age etc and there is also a story  of his time in australia on the net under the heading of Alexander Mclennan and Mary matheson their story which are both his brother in law and sister in law he married a woman called catherine mclennan who was from scotland if you have any trouble finding the info let me know. :)freeman5522

Hi, I have just been looking at my tree. I have the freemans going back to 1707 and the ghosts. I do have info as to some of them, some dates, places and marriages etc.  I am still trying to find out dates of birth etc. I am also trying to work out how to send the info. Thanks

hi I got alot of my information from records held on the website familysearch.org and ancestry.com so also have seen some info on the net about a william merridon being sent to tasmania in 1830's and that he was a brother in law of the william freeman that  i have in my tree william freeman born 18/02/1804 at great gaddesen and nettleden herford, england father thomas freeman and ann I got that info from the familysearch.org site  and also the marriage of ann ghost to thomas freeman in 1802 so hopefully I have the right family. :)

Hi, i hope that is the right family as it is the same as mine. I only have 5 children, for Thomas and Ann. The thing that i have seem to find most difficult is the dates of death for the family etc. Can any one help?, I have info on theGhost Family going back to 1575, if you want it. Thanks Mark

Hi Keely

Benjamin Freeman, b.1869 (youngest son of James Freeman b.1863 and Jane Robinson b.1861) was my Gt. Grandfather. I have never been able to find evidence of his marriage to Ann Brett (b.1866 in Brent Pelham) but they had four children, the youngest being Grace (b. 1896 in Edmonton) who was my Grandmother.

As you probably know, a lot of the Meesden records were lost making the Freeman's notoriously difficult to research!

If you pm me I will be happy to swop information.

Best wishes

LyndseyB
