Bit of a long shot but does anyone out there have any information on a lathe works in Boothtown, Halifax  - the company could possibly have been called Schofields

Hi Sandra,
Mr Dennis and James Butler founded a company called Butler and Co. Manufacturers of Machine tools. Victoria Iron Works, Halifax. This company later became J. Butler Machine tool Co. and later still, Asquith and Butler Machine tool Co. and (according to a chap I met on holiday) may have had premises in Boothtown.
