Not sure this will help but I have been researching my sister inlaws family and backc.1816 there is a Johanna Uren Pellew (Madron)- so must be some connection with the Uren family. Also I understand that the Pellew connection is related some how to Admiral Pellew...

Hi Everyone,

I have finally managed to get back into RootsChat.com briefly to let you know that my computer has had nasty viruses and my son has had to strip it down completely.  He has finally set up most things on the computer for me but I cannot be on the computer very often.  It is linked up to his as I am living with my son and family at the moment.  Please bear with me until I can get a new home and get my own computer set up.  I will try to check messages from time to time .

Suse, thanks for your message - I have no idea at this stage about the Pellew connection but once I'm up and running I will definitely look into it.  I have lost an awful lot of personal date too, including my Family Tree that I originally set up.

Take care everyone.

Hugs
CP.

G'day 223344,

I just wanted to say a very special THANK YOU for all the help you gave me in PM regarding the Trescrowan Uren (living) family.

It's great being in touch with them now and apparently the cousin that I'm now corresponding with is the 7th generation of Urens living at Trescrowan Farm.

Hugs
CP

Deb,

A big Thank You to you too for all your kind help and patience.  I just wanted to let you know that I now have over 300 people on my tree and I have heaps more to add.  It's all coming together very nicely too.

Thanks millions.  Hope to catch up with you in the Chatroom but I haven't been in very often.

G'day Suse,

I haven't found anything yet but I would be very interested to know whether there is a connection with the Pellews.  If you have a Family Tree somewhere, would you allow me to have a look please?  I wouldn't expect you to be emailing me all the information LOL .

Thanks

Cornish pasty

Not sure if you still read this message board... but I think we may be related. I'm a descendant of a Uren in south Africa and GGrandfather comes from Cornwall. I was told that I have a relative in Aus following up on our tree and I was wondering if it's you.

Let me know...
Thanks
Moogles

Hi Moogles. I haven't been on Rootschat for so long due to illness. Thanks for your message.

Yes, I think it's Richard UREN, is it? I have heaps of information but you will need to post a couple more comments on the board to be able to use the Private Messages so that we can exchange email addresses. Let me know when you can access Private Messages. Send me your email address in PM but DO NOT post it on this public board. Look forward to hearing from you soon.  :)

Regards,
CP.
