Hello Christine,

No William Snr on this one - maybe he was at work....but looks the most likely
up to now.

No Baxendales on West Bolton and now halfway through last piece.
(Little Bolton)

There are quite a few Bolton pages which havn'nt been copied as
after all these years the ink has faded so the pages are blank .......
some pages may have as well have been blank as they look as though a
spider has crawled over them and are unreadable. (about 15 pages)

I'll check rest on Thurs so I'll be in touch Thurs or Fri evng.

Aww Fanks!   it's so good of you to do this, I know how difficult it is reading some of the earlier census's.  The Yorkshire 1861 is just as bad.

Like i said before there's no rush, just take your time.

Apologies for delay in getting back to you, been hospital visiting.

Only found two more Baxendales on 1841...see attachment...
 
The first Baxendale family is virtually unreadable although the second name appears to be William, I can't read anything else and only the two
people were listed.
The second family is quite clear but again, only two people listed.

Thanks a lot ofr all your hard work Skippy, it's much appriciated.   I really think i need to go over to the Bolton PRO and have a full day searching for William, but now i have somewhere to start looking which has made life a little easier.

You can count on the fact that should i need any further help i will indeed be intouch and of course if your search brings you to Halifax i,m more than willing to help you out.
