1841 Look Up - Weller - COMPLETED THANKS

Hello,

I am hoping to find John WELLER b C1787 and his wife Elizabeth b 1780 Hanborough on the 1841.  This is the only information I have for them.

Hi Dolly,
I don't know whether this helps .... (Unlikely  -  Difficult to know how correct it may be without the presence of wife, Elizabeth). Did they have any children that you know of? It might be that Elizabeth passed away prior to 1841.

John WELLER, 60, Farmer (Indicated as not being born in this county)
Esther Do, 25,  , Born within county


The only others around that time in OXF where a John and Hannah WELLER (both c. 1786) in Bletchington, and a John and 'Debera' WELLER (both c 1796) in Henley upon Thames. I can send those details through if you are interested?

I have a feeling I might of only 'muddied' the water more for you!

John Weller abt 1806 from Hanborough married to an Elizabeth abt 1806 from Hanborough.

Sue - I think you may have found him in 1841 as I know from PR's that he was a farmer!  I didn't know about Ester and will see if I can find her on the IGI.

Pauline - no they are not the marriages, thanks for mentioning to me.

Dolly, I found a John and Elizabeth Weller in Handborough in the 1841 and 1851, but the dates are c. 1806. John's occupation is given as a Mason.

Guess it really stems from how confident we are on the dates, and/ or census accuracy !

It was the age difference for John between the two census records that caught my eye.
