Cheadle Family
« on: Saturday 15 July 06 21:57 BST (UK) »
I was wondering If any one could help me find out some information about my family who moved to Canada. I believe that my family moved to Canada at the end of the First World War due to there fathers death. All of the CHEADLE's that moved to Canada were living in Poulton, Wirral, Cheshire, United Kingdom.  I do not have much information about what Happened to the Cheadle after they moved to Canada. I believe That my g.g Uncle Victor Cheadle became a Mountain ranger. Also Victors brother died on the way over to Canada . Does any one know what would have happened to his body. I think his name was Bernard Cheadle. Any information will be very much appreciated.
Thank you
Marc  :)

A search on here has 32 people with the Cheadle surname in Canada. Contacts with relatives have been made this way...

Without first names it's hard to do any searches for you, but it is
harder to find those who came over in the 20th century...although
a search into attestation papers does find Cheadle...and
an Alphonso, which might be your one...altho the dates don't match the 1901...but born in Poulton.(says Chester?) Next of Kin...Francis J. Cheadle, listed as father? ( likely the Joseph Frances on the 1901?)
address at the time of signup is...Athabasca, Alberta

Are Bernard, Albert , Victor, Thomas John, Francis, Edith, Mary, Winnifred and Patience the others?
Perhaps Alphonso spoke well of Alberta and prompted the family's move to Canada...
