Honey family of Sunningwell
« on: Friday 21 July 06 23:54 BST (UK) »
The Honey name first appeared with the baptism of Alce daughter of Edward in  Sunningwell in 1618.   Thereafter the family flourished and expanded, and went on to populate the county with Honey descendents.

Very few of the marriages between 1600 and 1700 have been found.   It is assumed that they occurred in the surrounding villages.

I would be grateful if RootsChatters with access to the PRs of the local villages not in the IGI could look for Honey marriages between 1600 and 1700.   A look-up for Wootton would be most welcome.   It would be most useful if the result of an unsuccessful search were also reported

Many thanks

Colin
