Hi OzyBob,
No Nellie Lewendon's father was Fred William Lewendon, and we know that she actually travelled alone to Australia.
Cheers

hello again sharon

may I ask  if you have got the marriage certitifacte of your earliest ancestor

reason being  that the marriage details are filled out /given by the persons involved rather than a death certiificate which relies on someone elses memories quite often

please excuse me if you have done all this allready

regards jenn

Hi,
no I the only marriage certificate I have from this branch of my family tree is my mother and father's.  Unfortunately my father had a very unhappy childhood losing his mother at age 12 and enduring living with a very unpleasant father until running away at age 16 to join the Army.  Little is know about his family as he spoke rarely about them.  I can never remember his talking about his mother father, or aunts & uncles.
cheers
sharon

Hi Ozzybob,
no I do not think that joseph Beasly is related as i have found records of some Beashel's living in Dublin. And I believe there are still Beashel's living in Ireland.
Cheers
Sharon

Did anyone get a copy of Joseph Beashel marriage cert to confirm where he was born......   I have a Joseph born 1837  parents Richard Beashel and Eleanor ( Elen) Daly from Rush in Co.Dublin Ireland .....  its the only part of Ireland where you will find the name Beashel  according to the 1901 census and am fairly confident  thats where he came from.

Slightly on a side note, the Beashel family of Rush produced many merchant mariners.  The website Irish Mariners has info on 5 of the family.
