Hi Linda
I have this book and am afraid these people you are looking for are not in it.  Lochnaw is an estate complete with Castle so it could be that there is a church with graveyard in the grounds somewhere.

Hi Rosie

Thanks for checking and the info is much appreciated.  Must be the castle Lochnow grounds then. Maybe they never had a headstone.

Would there be any Dorman, Gunzion/Gunyeon or Gachin names listed in your publication?

Hiya Linda
There is a DORMON listed entry number 66.
None of the others but there is a GONNON entry number 123.
66 is Errected by John and William Dormon, in memory of parents John and Sarah Wallace. Also various members of that family is this yours?

Hi Rosie

Could be. The John married to Sarah might be a brother to Michael.

I have a John, James, Elizabeth, Agnes & Hugh with father Michael (Dorman, Dirman) & mother Elizabeth Gunzion (I'm sure I'm missing children from this generation) and another generation John, Elizabeth, Ann, Jane, Martha, Mary, Susan, Margaret, Jessie,  David, Samuel, Michael with father Thomas & mother Ann Neil. Next generation Jemima (died 1877), Mary Ann, Thomas, Samuel, David, Margaret, Michael, Elizabeth Jane, Agnes Jessie and Sarah with father Thomas Dorman & mother Jane (Rainey, Rainnie, Rennie).

My Gunzions - Agnes, David, Janet, William and Elizabeth with father David (Gunzion, Gunnion, Gunyeon) & mother Ann (Gachin, Gaichan) Hugh Gunion/Gunnion wife Mary Cunningham

Would any of these names be there?

Thanks,
Linda
