William King, Llansanffraid Cwmteuddwr
« on: Sunday 23 July 06 21:00 BST (UK) »
Hi

Can anyone help please? I have found the marriage of my ancestor William King to Mary Chedzoy in the parish of Llansanffraid Cwmteuddwr, Radnorshire in 1803. Now i am trying to find out either of their parents and their dob. Mary's name is unusual and i wonder if she is foreign?? Anyone got any ideas or can help me please? Thanks.

There is a village named Chedzoy in Somerset near Bridgwater.

The name crops up as a surname occasionally, and presumably originated there.
