Thanks for perservering.

Just for anyone following the Belchers.....
Wendy found the birth of little Alfred in March Q 1874 Bradfield.

I asked Daphne if she knew anymore about Alfred and what work he was doing.....but she doesn't know....
So the Marriage will have to be bought.....OR.. the birth of young Alfred...

As I said in my PM to you I would advise obtaining the marriage cert of Alfred and Sarah Jane, as hopefully it would be give his fathers name on it, if known to Alfred that is.
