1871 Lancs. Westhoughton or Hindley

  Can anyone please find this for me? The following is the marriage of one of my ancestors and I would like to find out where they were in 1871 and what children they had by then, if anyone can help.

Charles GREGORY b.1844 in Hindley  m.Ann BERRY on 19 Jul 1862  in Hindley. He was 18 and she was 19 at their marriage.

Hi Joan,

Just had a look at the 1871 for you. There are no Charles Gregorys born Hindley. However there are two age 27 from Westhoughton.

One is maried to a Deborah age 26 and also has a brother James age 43 living with him. The other is married to Margaret age 26, with a 4 yr old son William. This second family are living with a Seddon family and listed as niece and nephew.
