Hello again, I have just found a record of the marriage! I looked under Reginald V Fearnhead. It was in Wiltshire 1921.

Hi missymare, dont know why I did not find the marriage.Thanks.

My interest is an Ann Shergold born 1870 at South Newton, daughter of shepherd Frederick c1843 Great Wishford, and Eliza b circa 1846 S. Newton.
Ann married Walter Mark Chalke, haulier b Downton 1872 -1960.

Will have a search for the Private John Shergold you are asking about.

served 21 years 34 days.
