Hello Joe, I am trying to trace the (B) of Walter William Hughes 1819/1823 abt. Horsleydown/Bermondsey.He was my Gt. Gt. Grandfather. I have him on the 1841 census at 4 Roberts St.  Limehouse with wife Ann, who I believe from info. I have was Ann Anderson (I have (B) cert. of son Walter William Hughes who is on the 1841 census) The date for (B) from 1819/1823 is because he gives different ages on other census. Ann

Joe my last message had an error in it, it should have read 1851 census for Walter William Hughes NOT 1841 census Ann

Hi

It might be a good idea to check baptisms in St Olave Southwark or St Mary Rotherhithe. I have ancestors who came from Bermondsey.

Hi Dawn

The post on reply 2 was for the 1851 although it does say 1841 Ann corrected herself on reply 3
 8)

Ive noticed just before you posted that there is another thread going which indeed does say she has details of the 1841..

Jane...PS are you still enjoying moderating..you do fine work keeping these boards in order..well done
