No Tipp is Tipp!
Kings County is now Offaly.

But I Know it can be very confusing when boundaries have changed. :)

Hi, I sent Marian a email not sure when she will reply she takes awhile to answer she is busy and takes care of our Aunt who is in nursing home. The Dooley could of been related to her father.

Dooley's could be related to Marian not sure but I emailed her, she takes awhile to answer as she is very busy. so it could take awhile.

the Ryan male might of been related to our grandfather.

hi
I've just just been browsing this site and think that I've got answers to the O'Grady/Dooley/Ryan conundrum. My data generally fits with information provided by you and is as follows:
Back in the day, A Margaret Sweeney married Patrick O'Grady from Kyle, Ballaghmore. They had 9 children for which I have records, one being James born 1884. A sister, Margaret, born 1880 married James Ryan. Margaret Sweeney had a sister called Catherine who married John Dooley from Butterisland near Coolrain, Co Laois. Ballaghmore, Butterisland and Borris-in-Ossory are all quite near each other.
I hope this will be of assistance to you.

Welcome to RootsChat  :)

A sister, Margaret, born 1880 married James Ryan.

Link to the marriage of Margaret O'Grady to James Ryan on 1st September 1909 in Ballaghmore RC Church.

This presumably is the townland of Kyle in Kyle civil parish.

yes,
that's Margaret O'Grady's and James Ryan's marriage cert.

This is the townland of Kyle in the parish of Kyle.

Indeed, I notice that a sister of Margaret and James married a James Dooley who was also from Ballaghmore in 1904. I haven't established a connection between this James and John Dooley from Butterisland who married Catherine Sweeney.
