Second set of eyes need please

I've got these two certificates, of Siblings George & Jane Cushing.
Just need a second set of eyes reading Mothers maiden surname. I thought it was 'Couzins', when I got Janes cert, but on George's it looks like 'Caufiens?'

Can anyone give me their opinion on what it says? Ta.

My eyes plus bifocal glasses would guess "Coussins" on the cert for Anna. Would guess "Caussins" on the cert for George.

They look like variant spellings of Cousins to me.  FreeBMD has a marriage of a Francis Cushing, Greenwich Jun 1846 - and on the same page is a Phoebe Cousins.

Nope, although I found what I presumed to be Francis's first wife in Blakeney.

Not so sure it is his first wife though.

There are a small tribe of Cushings in Greenwich in 1851 ... headed by a Norwich born Robert ...
