Glasgow Newspapers 1921 look up?
« on: Tuesday 02 November 04 00:16 GMT (UK) »
Hi

I have the death cert. of  William Entwistle who died of Pneumonia and a gunshot wound to the chest at Bellahoustan Military Hosiptal July 1921. (See other post on this page re. same young man) I am guessing he was shot some time before July and never recovered from his injuries.

He was formerly a private in the Kings Own Yorkshire Light Infantry and I am looking into his military record but he was not in service at the time of his death.

I am wondering if the gunshot wound happened in Glasgow and would have been covered in the local press....can anyone look this up for me or tell me of anywhere online I can search?

Thanks

Douglas, Brown, Entwistle, Reed, Parsons, Copperwaite, Farrow, Barnes, Cowx, McCallum, Stobbart, Bowsell, Iredale, Marshall.
