Hi Amy,

It looks like you will have to order a marriage certificate from the Province of Alberta.

Hello Amy,

Leaving you a quick message since your computer was crashing on you.  You can find a relative who entered Canada from overseas by looking at a specfic microfilm #T-14966 from the National Archives of Canada.  Just ask your local library about getting an interlibrary loan for it.  You may be lucky I can't see there being too many Bookless listed between 1919-1924.

I know you will be able to find them this way.  My grandfather came over to Canada from England in 1924 and his record was listed in the microfilm reels.  If you don't find a record Citizenship and Immigration may be able to find it if you can't.

Happy hunting,

Jeff

Hi amy-lou,

Before ordering any microfilm reels, read this thread.  The kinds of arrival records that were kept vary greatly by year, so your family may not be on the same reel as Jeff's.  eillo has provided a great summary of what is available and where.
