Hi Zelly

What a lovely gift. Happy Birthday.  :)

As an ex-barnardos child I made a cd rom of every known relatives
birth/bap/marriage/death and my own family information and gave it to Barnardos.

They kindly have kept it to pass on to any of my siblings that may contact
them as 6 of us were in the home together.

Cheers Sandy

Excellent idea!

It would be nice to hear from others concerning your approach to documenting
known relatives.

What a wonderful, thoughtful gift.  Was this done for you by a family member or professionally?  I can see this taking off!

What a wonderful, thoughtful gift.  Was this done for you by a family member or professionally?  I can see this taking off!

The one for me was done by a niece in-law.
But, a spouse, mother-in-law and sister-in-law
worked to gather about 150 pictures or more but not all were included.
The pictures were arranged to tell a story. When I looked
at the complete package several times there were and are many stories to tell.

Flashing through the decades, viewing the changing hair styles and clothes
what a trip that is.

About a year ago, one for a memorial service was done by a professional.
It was good, but it's kind of sad that the leading "star" of that DVD
could not be there to view their own story in pictures.

Your comments "I can see this taking off", was a reason I started this thread.

Adding two pictures of the many that set the stage for a
never ending journey looking back through the years.
