Thanks everyone for your help.  I don't know of anyone but I will report back to the person who sent me it to see if it means anything to him.  We thought he was perhaps one of our Barnett relations but it doesn't seem like that now. I will let you know if I find out.

Thanks again everyone who helped. I have been in touch with the owner of the photo and he says this helps as his great great aunt was married to a Canadian soldier but this does not look like a photo of her. He is going to get in touch with his older relatives to see if this gives them a clue.
