Looking for living relatives of John Given

I am looking for living relatives of my husbands great-great grandfather John Given ,
Born about 1815,in Ireland, possibly Antrim, and in the late 1830's was living in Oldham Lancashire England.He was a cabinet maker.
First wife Catherine ? second wife Martha maiden name possibly Gillian. She died in 1864.
Children were Sarah Delia, Elizabeth, and John Samuel.all born in Oldham, where John senior died about 1885.
Sarah married Frederick Potter a butcher and son of a Master dealer.

Hello Shirley,
Thankyou for the Givens in Oldham information.Yes they are my husbands Great grandmother, and great great grandfather
I have since found out that John Given's father was called James, but have no other information on the Irish areas or when he came to England. I have some info. on the family when they lived in Oldham, and have been contacted by a distant cousin of my husbands who has been a help, but the more the merrier eh? Thankyou for your help Shirley. My mother's maiden name was Given. She was born in Cullybackey, Antrim where her whole family of Givens come from. There was a James who had three poet sons, Patrick, Samuel Fee and Thomas in the mid 1800s. I believe James' father was another John Given. Perhaps they were related.

Thanks for the useful information.Johns father James was a "Lapper" by trade, so may have been involved in the furniture trade also.
I will add your names to the list, and hopefully i can find connections sometime, as several people have suggested Cullybacky, as his possible birthplace.
