Can anyone advise me how to start this line of research please
« on: Saturday 02 September 06 17:21 BST (UK) »
Hi, i am trying to find out how to start to find any information on this family:

HENRY J CLARK born 1829 in Bedminster, Somerset.

moved to Australia, but i have no idea when.

But i do know that he lived at :

Peacock Street,
East Maitland,
NSW

in 1902

He had 3 girls and 3 boys and married MARTHA

he was there in the 1893 flood

and was ill in 1904 so may have died around then.

Any ideas or help will be greatly appreciated.

Also,  very very little info , but due to surnamr thought id ask.

Eliza Anna ZUCKER alive in 1926 and living at:

Commercial Hotel,
Swan Street,
Morpeth,
NSW

Think her mother was Sarah.

Thanks.

Kev. ;D

Hi Jenn, i have been sent a load of letters from 1903 to 1926 and in them are various family members  writing about and trying to work out their cousin.

In one of them in has the address and says cousin ELIZA ANN ZUCKER daughter or your sister SARAH (letter to Henry Clark)

Hi Kev

There is only one death for Henry Clark in NSW between 1900 and 1920 with a father Francis - was his mother Ann? Location is Boggabri - about 300km west of maitland.

Ref 8173/1907   -  from site given by Cas.

A transcript of the certificate ($15AU) should provide much useful information - parents, children, wife, time in Australia etc

Hi Trish, saw it and his mother was Mary not Ann.

I think i may have found two nephews of his on it though.

Alfred Charles and Edward Thomas Clark, i know both went to Australia as he mentioned that they visited.

Thanks for looking  ;D
