I assume the children born at Patrick's Plain were probably his Kev? The Newcastle/Maitland/Hunter area has some good family history societies and there world be cemetery records around for the district. (I think the Newcastle library also has much information). Google should provide  information.

His death should definitely be there, unless he went to another state.  He was quite old & I'm wondering if whoever gave the death details had his mother's name incorrect?

For a slightly lesser fee the transcription agents will check if the person is yours - if you find nothing else may be worth while.

Have you looked for marriages for the children? location may be of interest.

I should have mentioned - I know there was an 1893 flood in  the Brisbane area - do not know about NSW. Did he mention where the flood was?

Jenn i have , Mary and got him in 1841 and 1951 england censuses as i said above,

Wasn't married then, thank you for your help.

Trish i think the children must be his.

He says "we are getting plenty of rain, not had much since the 93 flood" in a letter dated 1902 with the same address as above.

I think it may well be the wrong mothers name listed also.

Thank you all for your help.

Hi all, thank you very much.

Ozybob, thats definately my Alfred Charles, mother and father spot on. But Edward Thomas was his brother so hes not one of the other two.

Thanks Genni

I think that could be him and his family, but he was born in 1829 so the kids might be a bit too late, depends how old Martha was i suppose?

The only reason i know his wife was Martha is from his letters, so i really have no idea or information about her at all.

Anybody anything on Eliza Ann Zucker?

Thanks again.

Kev.

Hi Kev and Genni

These were the children I was thinking would belong to Henry & Martha. The last one may be an error in transcription giving Martha's maiden name - or it might be her second name.

V18582003 160/1858  CLARK  ISAAC D Parents HENRY  MARTHA
An OPR - no location given.
These are all from Patrick's plain.
10884/1860    FRANCIS J   Parents Henry Martha
12145/1862    MARY E       Parents Henry Martha
13388/1865    MARTHA A   Parents Henry Martha G
14403/1867    SARAH E     Parents Henry Martha G
15463/1870    CONSTANCE Parents Henry Martha
15881/1871    WILLIAM S   Parents Henry Martha
15981/1872    UNNAMED    Parents Henry Martha G
16921/1873    EDWARD JOHN   Parents Henry Martha
17787/1875    HENRY ROBERT   Parents Henry Martha Green

You can probably follow the children through marriages / deaths.

I could find no sign of Eliza Ann Zucker. It seems a fairly unique name. Perhaps she came here for a visit & returned to UK? There is a Christian Zucker with wife Charlotte who seemed to start the NSW family of this name.
