A Challenge
« on: Saturday 02 September 06 17:49 BST (UK) »
I have a photo of Dad taken early in WW2 while he was training in Scotland. He was in the RE. He was one of the so called "D-Day dodgers". In 1978 I was living in Scotland and took mum and dad to visit the place this photo was taken. I took a photo of them both sitting in this exact spot. Mum passed away recently and I would love to be able to give dad both photos looking good.
Regards
Linda
Forgot to say dad is the one sitting front right with his legs crossed.

Hi Linda

Is there any chance that you can post the other photo so we can see what it's supposed to look like.  We might also be able to retrieve some detail from it.

Kind regards
Cazza

Many thanks Cazza. They are brilliant.
Ray, sorry I must have had my stupid head on yesterday ;D
The Greenway I have is in my husband's tree. Sarah Greenway Born Staffs married Joshua Hickman in Dudley in 1867. Moved to Cambois Northumberland and died 1905.
Her father was Robert.
