On 1901 there is the following family at 15,North Rd, parish of Ystradyfodwg and Llanwonno;
George Rossiter age 36 colliery repairer (below)
Maria Ann age 35 wife born Evercreech Somerset
Edgar age 5 born Porth
Madge age 4 born Porth
Blanche age 3 born Porth
Rosa age 1 born Porth
Hester Trim age 14 neice born Porth
and a boarder.

Married Marria Anna Targett oct qtr 1892 Clutton, Somerset.

Many thanks for that. I'm trying to link Rosa's father George to his ancestors in my database. I've checked the 1881 Census and I think this is George with his family. I think Hester is the wife of Job born circa 1811 in Evercreech. Is it possible to conform this in the 1871 Census please.

Well they've stumped me!! Cannot find them, or Hester May. Tried all sorts of variations on names...no joy.
Also, on 1871 James is born c.1854...2 years after Elizabeths death and Thomas is c.1859 again inbetween Elizabeth and Hester.
Cant find an inbetween marriage, and cant link them to Hester as hers before marrying Job...hmmm!

Maybe another rootschatter can shed some light on them?
