Did Eva marry?
« on: Monday 04 September 06 10:54 BST (UK) »
Eva Pow was born in Newry Ireland in 1898.
She was the daughter of Frederick George Pow born 1873 in Bath Somerset & Mary ??? born in Dublin.
George was a colour sergeant D of the 32 Regiment Cornwall L.I.S. stationed in Bodmin.

I have not found any reference to Eva other than that in the 1901 census.

Can anyone help further?

Hi Muffin,

There is a marriage in Q4 1919 of an Eva V Pow to Carrett in Hendon, Vol 3a Page 863.

Could this one be yours?

This could be a lead to follow, when the family moved from Bodmin to the London area while father Frederick was in the army.

I have that Eva´s name in the 1901 census was shown as Eva E. L. Pow, no idea what E. & L. were for names.
