I'm researching the surnames, Rogers, Winter and Frost from Richmond, Surrey. I'd like to hear from anyone who has them in their tree.

I have 2 sisters who married a Rogers and a Winter.

Bertha Calland-Scoble married Arthur Rogers  and Louisa Calland-Scoble married Walter Winter. Both of them in the Surrey area. Is there any link with yours?

Silly me. Bertha married Joseph not her son Arthur!!!

Bertha married Joseph Rogers Mar Q 1889 Croydon.

Louisa married Walter Winter June Q 1990 Uxbridge.

Are they likely to be yours? I have never found anyone else in this country studying this family although people are in Australia. In my dreams it would be wonderful if I made a break through!

I've had a quick look in my file. All of my Rogers/Winters are from Richmond, Surrey. I will check in more detail over the next few days though and get back to you.

I don't think I did reply to you and I must apologise...put it down to 3 birthdays right after Christmas, one my daughter's 18th!
I have looked at my file and can't at the moment find any connection to my Rogers and Winter...but I have kept a note in my file in case something turns up!

Don't worry I know just what you mean. We had an 18th last year. We are currently mid GCSE's with daughter number two and a ball coming up with many a detail to sort out!
