Hi

Can somebody please do a search for this file:

Start->Search->For Files or Folders and enter ccApps* as the search criteria and tell me where this file or these files are located.

I have Word and Outlook and cannot locate this file.

I vaguely remember this name, is it something to do with Packard Bell?

Hi gcar

It looks like a major interrogation session with your son is in order.  :)

Did he download something like a game from the internet a couple of weeks ago?

I would advise that you open Task manager immediately after you start Windows and keep it open until you shutdown so that you can monitor the processes that are running just for a day or so until you can identify what is happening on your PC.

Hi gcar

You can find out whether you have automatic Windows updates turned on by going to:

Start->Settings->Control Panel and click on the Security icon.

You will soon be an expert!
