I  now  hunting for a  deserted 10 year old [ in 1861] William  WEBSTER [ or CHADWICK]    b Paddington Middlesex.

His mother  Fanny WEBSTER and bro Henry travelled to  OZ in 1852 leaving William Webster in England with whom?

In 1851  William WEBSTER  lived with this mother  Fanny WEBSTER  and brother Henry WEBSTER  aged 5
at
1851 - Marylebone  St Mary  Middlesex
    REF: Class: HO107; Piece: 1489; Folio: 361; Page: 15
    20 Edgeware Road - got those detail yesterday from a brilliant person on rootschat callled  AMBLY!

William J. Webster  age 11  Scholar   b   London

Schoolmaster...  Darius J. White

This appears to be a boys Boarding school for boys 11 to 16

Many thanks indeed for this information - that sure does look like him.
His  full name was William John Webster that changed when he go on board the boat to Australia 1862 to William John CHADWICK!
