As far as I can remember Boyd's stops  in 1837. Why don't you put the image up here for us to look at?
Southern or Southan [Hereford , Monmouthshire & Glos], Jenkins, Meredith and Morgan [Monmouthshire and Glos.], Murrill, Damary, Damry, Ray, Lawrence [all Middx. & London], Nethway from Kenn or Yatton. Also Riley and Lyons in South Africa and Riley from St. Helena.

To me the second one looks like "John William Williams"

Thank you Jen.

I thought that but with 4 Williams all written by same hand looking very different.  Perhaps a tipple too many at the wedding

The start of all of them are universal and definately read "Will" ~ it is the end bit which is questionable!

I agree the 1st one (Harriett's) looks more like Williamson,
But I do think her father is John William Williams.

Perhaps Chris1066 could give his take on this one also?

For future reference click "additional options" underneath when you are posting. here you will be able to attach jpegs. etc. Hope this information helps you

Also to find out you could also search for a John William Williams or Williamson in the 1861 Census for the region to find out

The surname looks more like Wellman/Willman to me than Williams

WELLMAN gets my vote, too.

There is a definate 'dot' above the 'i' in Harriet, William and Williams.
But none above the 'e' of WELLMAN in Harriet's surname nor her father's surname.
