Harvey St, Derry
« on: Thursday 21 September 06 10:46 BST (UK) »
Hi there,
I have birth certicates for children born to Thomas Rennick and Anne McCauley in Harvey St, Londonderry,(Sarah Jane in 1864, and Edward in1866). I would like to check the parish registers for baptism records for the older children born before civil registration.  Can anyone tell me which Catholic parish Harvey St would have been in at this time?

Many Thanks
Michelle

Hi Michelle,

Harvey street is off Waterloo street and Chamberlain street in Derry and the local Parish would be St Eugene's Cathedral.

You should contact the Parochial house which is listed as Francis street Derry and the phone number is 02871262894 also 02871365712.

I hope this is of some help to you.

regards

John Mc Clenaghan
