Saw a great advert in a recent magazine trying to convince people to buy one of their microfiche readers. The sales pitch was "microfiches are available to search small areas of information whereas with a CD you have to search a huge complicated database".
Yes its so frustrating being able to home in on a record within a database of 10 million names in half a second when you could spend the afternoon looking through a microfiche.
