1901 Census Look up - GARNHAM Richard
« on: Saturday 30 September 06 20:10 BST (UK) »
The above is my Grandfather Richard Allen Garnham who lived at The Old House ??? Where?, He lived with his wife Rosa Emma and sons shown as West S (Actually was Samuel Joseph) and Albert Richard.
Any other information on the area would be good as visiting very shortly and would like to see where this would be.
Thanks everyone.......

Hi
Looking at the census sheet they lived at the Old House , near The Old Hall at Hintlesham/Chattisham in Suffolk. The ecclesiastical parish is Hintlesham St Nicholas. There is a website for the area.

Hi
Your welcome, I did see the book on the website, I have one of the village where I come from in Lincolnshire, and my wife has a book of the village where her mother came from in Suffolk, and in my wifes book we found out about her Great Grandparents.
Good hunting and I hope you enjoy your day and the weather stays fine for you.

regards

ricky
