Hi

I am trying to attach a photo for restoration but keep being told that there is already a file with this name please could I try again, have moved the photo from the file in my pictures to my documents but it is still saying the same what am I doind wrong

You have to rename the images after the directory bit.

So mydocuments/imagename

is still the same as

mypictures/imagename

The problem is that the picture you are trying to load has aname which is the same as one which is already on Rootschat.
In order to change the image name the easiest way (if using a windows PC) is to right click on the image with the mouse and then select "rename"
Don't forget to re-attach the suffix (last three letters) which identifies which type of graphic file it is.

eg   
original name : smith.jpg right click and rename as mysmith999.jpg

I guess that the problem occured as I keep all families together in seperate folders and I posted my mum's a while ago so it would have shown up as the same file as my dad's, have it sorted now but thank you for the advice.
