I'll have a look next time I go to the Archives, the Turners were one of the oldest families in Ridgeway and I think they are still there, these signatures will be of the same family

Thanks Omskirk.
The signatures are fantastic, if it wasn't for the date I would have said my Dad had signed it ,The John Turner is soooo like his, same J ,T and r most uncanny.It fair sent shivers down my back as Dad died 3 months ago.
Sadly I think when we left the village in 1968 we took the Turner name out of there, I don't recall any paternal cousins left behind. At least not with the name Turner. Funnily when Dad moved there in 1953 from Beighton I'm not sure he realized his gggrandfather, and a few generations back, had come from there.
If only I had known I'd be doing this now I would have photocopied the Parish records ;D.
Anyway I regress (memories ::))
Most appreciated and Thankyou very much
Jac.
P.S. is it alright to copy the page of signatures?

This is from a rare book called Ridgeway & It's Industries, I can get you the ISBN number and you can order it through your Library, It is long out of print, written by Mr Fox who lived next door but one to you {I think} but before your time, I think he died in 1950.
I have replied to your PM

The correct title for the book is  "Ridgeway village & it's Industries" by Willis Fox  there is no Isbns number as it was published privately and there are very few copies about
