James Owens 1840

Im looking for a James Owens.

Born around 1840 in Roscommon

Married to Ellen(surename unknown) born around 1844 Dublin

Trying to find the marriage to get Ellens Surename.

They are in Birkenhead England by 1866.

any ideas where i can find any information on the please?

     do you think they got married in England or Ireland?
    There are a couple of marriages,one in 1864 Warrington,to Ellen Burke,and the other one also in Warrington 1865 to an Ellen Owen,as far as I know Birkenhead and Warrington are in Cheshire!!!

Their first child was born in Birkenhead so it could be they married here.

James is from Roscommon

Ellen from Dublin

They had their first child in Birkenhead Cheshire.

Their second in Wigan ( is that under lancashire)

Then they settled in Liverpool
