Emigrants to USA after WW2
« on: Tuesday 09 November 04 10:49 GMT (UK) »
How easy is it to trace emigrants to the USA who arrived in the post-WW2 era?

My great-aunt, Peggy (Kitcher) Drake and her husband Francis, emigrated to the NY area after World War 2. I believe Peggy is still alive although her husband is dead.

Any help gratefully received.

Do you know if they stayed in NY or the last town you know they were living?

Hi Jennifer,

Thanks for your message. As far as I am aware, the Drakes' stayed in New York state.

Best wishes
