my husbands great grandad in 1880's lived in gravel house, whittlesey. so it says on his marriage cert. where abouts was this?

According to Google Whittlesey is a fenland town 6 miles east of Peterborough.  Does that tie in with where the marriage took place?

gravel house was in coates which is a small village outside of whittlesey cambridgeshire,i dont know if it still exists today.it is mentioned on the roll of honour cambridgeshire site,as the home of a soldier killed in the 1st world war.the green family was living there at that time.

Know its been a long time did you find Gravel House Coates? It is still there, old school friend lived there in 50's. Can take a photo if you wish
