Hi Jackie
As yet there is only a marriage index ( Bertram Merrill not complete but pretty near ) that can be purchased from the Cheshire FHS.
There is also the odd list or two on some family websites.
Also there is a project under way by one of the universities to publish online a searchable database of all the Cheshire parish records, but I think its a long term one and no where near complete as yet.
Till then I think its a matter of asking for lookups.

hi peter

thanks for that i just feel cheeky asking, you in particular have helped me a lot but now its going onto births before 1837, most of my research has been done on cheshire bmd and hanley library but that has stopped now, would like to go cheshire library but they dont open on saturdays.

kind regards

jackie.
