looking for birthdate for james and his brother william
sisters ann and betsety or elazabeth all from sleat  inverness or strath inverness james emigrated to australia in 1837 on the william nichol
any help appreciated thanks ;D ;D

if James Kinghorn  was  born  in Scotland  why  don't  you  post this  request  on  the Scotland  section  of Rootschat  they  would be  more likely to be able to  help  you

tried the free online to search for james kinhorn's birthdate,

james is buried in orange cemetery but there is no headstone or information inthelibaray for him

They probabably sent you back here to find out more information.  You do need to have at least a range of dates to be asking for a birth lookup, as they are dealing with parish records for this time period.

Have you tried the online Scottish records?  they are an excellent source of such things and is not that expensive.
