WWI Medal Card

Could someone help me with a medal card?

I downloaded what I am pretty sure is my Great Grandfathers WWI meadl card. Could someone tell me what the different bits mean?

I've founf in VERY VERY confusing.

I think the correct one would be the Norfolk Regiment Herbert Barrett

Am I right in thinking that he got the Victory Medal, the 1915 Star, and the British War Medal?

Any idea what the roll number means? and what does it say in the 'remarks' section?

yes he got the three medals,

you are looking at an index card, the references are to the main medal rolls

in the remarks it says he was Killed in Action 26-9-15

my guess would be that your Herbert looks like a corporal in the artillery (IMHO... although i wouldn't rule out the ASC either)

They are William & Anna Barrett.
