You write:
“ She met Archie Stringer during travel back to England and they married.”

Do you mean her travel back from Ireland or Archie’s travel back?

The marriage was in Bridlington in 1918, September quarter 9d pg 691

I believe they were both travelling to England by ship. Margaret was returning to teach, Archie I assume returning to service as he had no other known business in England, other than his work in the infantry or cavalry (his daughter thinks Infantry but speaks of a life-threatening allergy to horses). They settled in Australia and my grandmother was born on their farm in 1926.

It would perhaps help to purchase the marriage certificate.

I do apologise as I am still not following this.

Are you saying that Margaret was in Australia sometime between 1911 -1918 and then returned to England where she either met Archie onboard or in England.

She could perhaps have attained her further degree in Ireland (after TCD), Australia or England, do you think?

Thank you. Margaret Agnes Webster, she died in Australia in 1955 in an apparent bus accident and is buried in Melbourne. I've been unsuccessful in finding where she was buried, and any information about the accident. She completed a BA in Mathematics, but I was told by family that she completed a masters degree and was a teacher, so it would also be good to have this verified and to find out where she taught. She met Archie Stringer during travel back to England and they married. They settled in a small country town in regional Victoria, Australia on a soldier settlement block that was offered to or applied for by Archie as a sheep wool classer. They raised 4 children. One of whom is my grandmother who passed away last year, 2020.

Sounds as though you don't have Margaret's death certificate and haven't checked the local newspapers for a report about the accident? Regarding the accident-

Added- with the name of the crematorium very easily found (cremated)-
