Have found this family in 1881 census and they are still in Hertford Road at 47. William is shown now as William H ? his occupation is now clerk at wharf.

it is  hard  to say  if  it  is  the  same  family

on  his  mariage certificate  both times  first  in 1879  he  lists  both  parents as deceased so  that  could  rule  this  particular entry  out

An update on this thread is that by William Reeve's first marriage certificate in scotland in 1879 it gives his age as 20 thus making him born 1859 enstead of 1863 his parents details remain the same except the father surname is spelt Reaves  he is listed as an able seaman  but two years later on the 1881 census in scotland he is a quarryworker

So if anyone can now find him it would be appreciated
