Looking for Bisleys
« on: Tuesday 14 November 06 06:42 GMT (UK) »
Not exactly a lookup request - I've looked myself!

Looking for Hester Bisley and her brother John.
Hester was married 3 .4. 1764 at 'St Gregory by St Paul's' (apparently service were actually held at St Mary Mady Magdalen Old Fish Street. (She was over 21 on the licence and of St Gregory's)

I looked yesterday through a dozen or more parishes looking for a baptism for either - about 1731-1764

Anyone suggest an index where I might find some Bisleys during this period? Must admit I am unlikely to get back to Guildhall library very soon though

Thanks Bob
